FLEXATHON 2026 Quality Education Edition
Bringing communities together for learning, inclusion and opportunity Aligned with SDG 4
Why SDG 4?
Education influences every stage of life. It helps children build strong foundations, enables young people to develop relevant skills and gives individuals greater opportunities to participate in society and the economy. However, access alone is not enough. Education must also be inclusive, safe, equitable and capable of delivering meaningful learning outcomes.
What the 2026 Edition Represents
Access
Every child should have the opportunity to participate in quality learning.
Inclusion
Gender, disability, economic circumstances and geography should not prevent a learner from progressing.
Skills
Education should help people develop skills for work, entrepreneurship, citizenship and life.
Safe Learning
Children should be able to learn in environments that are secure, supportive and inclusive.
Lifelong Learning
Learning should continue beyond school and remain accessible throughout life.
