17 Global Goals. One Shared Future.
FLEXATHON brings the Global Goals into motion Aligned with the UN SDGs
Framework
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda. Together, they address interconnected priorities including poverty, health, education, equality, climate, sustainable communities, peace and global partnerships.
Our Global Goals Model
Every FLEXATHON edition will focus on one Global Goal. The selected goal will guide:
- The edition’s central message
- Community and institutional engagement
- Partner selection
- Educational campaigns
- Supporting activities
- Impact measurement
- Post-event reporting
FLEXATHON’s Role
FLEXATHON does not claim that a single event can solve a global challenge. Its role is to:
- Make important issues more visible
- Bring new participants into the conversation
- Connect sport with civic responsibility
- Create opportunities for credible partnerships
- Support practical and measurable local initiatives
- Keep public attention active beyond race day
